Practice Owner and Principle Dentist

Qualified in 1998 in Sweden, Alex moved to the UK and took over the ownership of Affinity Dental Clinic in year 2000. Alex’s mission has been to create a family-oriented practice, in a friendly environment, offering up to date dentistry to the highest standards.

Alex provides a wide and comprehensive range of dental treatment (computerised dentistry and same day ceramic restorations, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Implants and Cosmetic dentistry to name a few). He has had the privilege of seeing the results of his works, year after year, for over 20 years.

Alex’s roll at the practice has gradually shifted from practicing dentistry to training and mentoring young and enthusiastic generation of his associate dentists.

Dr. Morad Shafy, our dedicated dental practitioner, first achieved his Dental Degree from Charles University in Prague back in 2015. Always striving to improve, Morad honed his skills with an advanced endodontics masterclass from Eastman Dental Institute in London and is now diligently working towards a Master’s in Advanced Dental Implantology.

But, it's not just his qualifications that make Dr. Shafy special. It's his natural ability to connect with his patients on a personal level, placing their needs at the forefront of his practice. His gentle approach, combined with his comprehensive understanding of complex dental procedures, makes every treatment a stress-free experience.

Associate Dentist

Anitha graduated in Dentistry in 2019 from the Aberdeen institute of Dentistry. She has been a dentist at Affinity dental clinic since 2021 and offers both NHS and private dental services. Since then, she has developed a particular interest in cosmetic and aesthetic Dentistry. Anitha is a firm believer of minimalistic dentistry and one of her aims during treatment is to make most of your natural teeth by aligning, whitening and bonding rather than drilling your tooth away for cosmetic purposes. 

Anitha also prides herself on her ability to provide the highest level of care whilst delivering an experience that is as relaxing and pain free as possible for her patients.

Dr. Gurveen Nagi graduated in 2022 from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, London, UK. Since then, she has established herself as a dedicated and passionate dentist, placing patient-centred care at the heart of her work, with a commitment to minimally invasive techniques. Proficient in a variety of treatments including oral surgery and cosmetic dental procedures, Dr. Nagi stays up to date with the latest advancements to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Nagi finds joy in cooking and singing. After experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or listening to her favourite songs, she always returns to work with energy, enthusiasm, and care, ensuring a positive and stress-free experience for her patients at every visit.

Having qualified as a Dental Hygienist / Therapist from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in 2004/2005, she has been diligently providing hygiene treatment at practices throughout Essex. Her main priority is to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction, taking pride from the relationships she builds with her patients.

Vivian began her career in Dentistry in Brazil and qualified as a dental surgeon. She moved to the UK soon after and gained qualifications as a dental hygienist and dental therapist. By continuous studies, she strides to keep up to date with modern practice and developments in dentistry.

Vivian's goals are to help her patients achieve optimal oral health with comprehensive care plans, tailored to each individual’s needs. She is dedicated to providing excellence in oral health, with high attention to details in a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment.

Dental Hygienist

Alin has been providing hygiene treatments since 2013 at practices throughout London. His main focus is patient education in oral hygiene and preventive care. Great chair side manners, warm and approachable personality, Alin ensures patients feel at ease at all times during the different procedures.
